Merv debuted for Superstars in 1995 but played most of his
cricket up to the mid 2000s for our sister (now defunct) club OSD. |

After the huge transfer fee was paid Merv 'the swerve' has
played regularly - that is about twice a season - since 2007 and achieves prodigious movement with
the ball although this is not reflected in the number of wickets taken to date at 37. |

A quality all rounder saving his best form for the Barbados
6 qualifiers for obvious reasons. Probably not the best person to organise a celebration in a brewery but
his excuses for missing matches are legendary inc "I was laying grass". Will have played 50 matches by the
time of his next appearance. |

Merv has made 49 appearences for the club. Surprisingly
given his obvious ability he's yet to join any Superstars Clubs with 37 wickets (only 13 required),
343 runs and a noteworthily low 4 catches. |
