Match started under grey skies and drizzle, I lost the toss and we were put into the field.
Their normal opening bat (the guy who marks out his guard out by tapping in the bail) scored 41 before Daryl took a skier off Noman.
With a slippery ball a few catches went down Merv twice, although one did result in a run out and Chris. Merv was the pick of the bowlers
with 2-12. |

In reply Kevin Eames hit a fluent 25 and Daryl a quick ten. In the meantime the Gaughtman
played and missed a lot before finally getting into his groove and reached 50 in the last over. He was ably supported by Mark Williams
with a career best 14 no. |

On a sour note Nick Allan had his wallet stolen by the side of pitch and an oppo had his
phone stolen - beware of a middle aged guy who purported to be the groundsman. i.e Don't let anyone hang around by our kit bags in future. |
