Superstars lost to Science Museum - probably for the first time ever - at the always entertaining Barnes Common ground.
We had the disadvantage of being two short and when we bowled first their ringers took our opening bowlers for plenty and they got to 160 despite valiant attempts to
claw it back against their middle order by Spencer, Taylor and Gautam and Duggan (modesty should forbid but.... 3 for 11). We then lost several early wickets against
tight opening bowling; Thornton (0) was less successful than he was against KAI Dragons later in the week with only Keates passing 25 to give us a certain respectability. |
