Before the game the talk around this game was one of sadness. Raj Vadgama was not only leaving
Superstars but leaving London in order to help those less fortunate than ourselves - the Welsh. I'm sure all Superstars wish Raj and his upcoming family
well. His leaving gift was to suggest he was the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time). But can you tell the difference? |

So is Raj the Greatest of All Time? Well put simply "no", but a brief look at the Career Stats
will suggest he's actually a SHEEP (Spinner of the Highest Effectiveness and Elegant Player) - highly fitting given his new home. |

Anyway, the match. There was no toss as MoJ didn't have enough players so we were pushed into the field. They gave us one fielder who disappeared when more
of their players turned up. We had 8 men and 12 year old Rhys Meyler playing (a note: Rhys has now played twice, more than many people on our e-mail list!).
Scott was detained at work and Chris hadn't realised he was playing! Despite the lack of fielders and some, err, "batsmen friendly" umpiring we restricted MoJ to a very gettable 129 with Alok and Vijay claiming 3 wickets each, the SHEEP 2 and Jez possibly the unluckiest spell of the season to only claim one wicket. |

After the initial shock of Bungle getting out to the first ball of the innings Superstars set about the MoJ attack with controlled agression and made their target with
2 and a half overs to spare despite MoJ saving a fast bowler to bowl in the dark. Adam, the SHEEP and Alok all retired (27, 28 and 28 respectively) while Vijay hit a flowing 18. Barry and Darth finished off the
victory with 4no and 6no respectively. |
