John Carr said no to the 25 run retirement rule. Will and Chris opened. Chris
scored 50, Will 45, Tom Newman-Taylor came in next scored 45, Scott a golden duck caught on the boundary having hit the
ball really flat and hard, Ralph Mould was out for a golden duck stumped, Scott's friend John and Mark Williams carried
the innings through to the end 171 for 5 not bad considering we were 64 for 0 off ten overs. We only had ten players
as Henry Demaria never turned up. |

Harish and Scott opened the bowling and we just kept taking wickets,
including me taking a slip catch! (a slip in 20/20 cricket). John (Scott's mate) and TNT carried on the bowling with
TNT taking 4 wickets. Ralph took a brilliant one handed catch. Mike Duggan and Jason finished the bowling off
to bring the win home. Chris Mountain fielded like a hero throughout the match. Dodgers finished on 116 for 8. |

After the previous two disappointments this year an encouraging win.
Jason Marchant making a good case for promotion to skipper himself. |
