Paul Gaught lost the toss and we were asked to bat. In a rather chaotic start Chris Mountain, Steve Evison, Chris' mate Chris Draper
and Paul were all back in the hunch for 37. All Paul's run out missed was the clown music in the background. Sandeep (11) steadied the ship but Adam Spencer (25no), Mike Taylor (25no)
and Ian Moxon (14no) provided the real impetus to the innings. Ian required a runner after yet another injury. Superstars made 140 for 5. |

Roy Varghese started with a beautiful first ball, bowling their opener but after that despite some good bowling DEFRA were equal to us.
Another catch by Paul Gaught (5 for the season, no drops) kept us in the fight but despite Sandeep's efforts (3-0-18-3) we lost of the penultimate ball. |
