SUPERSTARS MANIC MONDAY. |

Superstars took on old friends Ad Hoc in a rare Monday night fixture (presumably
moved for live TV coverage) at Regents Park. We were on the ground nearest the Lion Enclosure and we were mauled like the
Lions devouring meat by our opponents. |

Ad Hoc batted first and scored a solid 148 all out. We had a bowler heavy
line up with Vijay and Alok opening up, Mark Williams and Errol Barnett sneaking in a few excellent deliveries, James
Hemingway and Mike Duggan providing spin and Chris Mountain using his experience at the death to keep the score manageable.
I'm sure people took wickets but the thing I remember was us conceding 5 when the ball hit a helmet. Oh and there was a
controversy when one batsman scored 42 without retiring, Extras is a naughty boy. |

In reply Adam scored 30 not out and Errol stuck around for around 18 but no
one else did much memorable. If they did i don't remember it. We were bowled out in 19.3 overs about 25 runs short. |
